Johnny'sfirst career after leaving university was as a soldier. He was an officer in a cavalry regiment in the British Army for several years before leaving and qualifying as a solicitor. He continued to serve in the Army Reserve for many years after leaving the regular army.

Johnny is a disputes lawyer with a wide range of litigation and arbitration experience including insurance, banking and finance, professional negligence, property, employment, intellectual property and commercial contracts often with multi-jurisdictional dimensions, including asset tracing. He also has a wide range of international experience, having worked both in the United Kingdom and across the Middle East including North Africa.

In his spare time Johnny enjoys country life and his attempts to train two dogs to be obedient are ongoing.
