George is a corporate and projects lawyer. He is the founder of BoothLaw.

George has been in-house counsel at leading international energy companies and a partner at leading international law firms. He has worked in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi and represents clients in transactions globally. He is regularly recommended in the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories.

George acts for entrepreneurs, SMEs, national and multinational companies and Governments. George is a commercially focussed, collaborative lawyer who enjoys supporting clients to achieve their goals in often challenging regulatory and risk environments.

George's UK experience includes acting for companies in the manufacturing, retail, aviation, financial services, property management, hospitality and transport sectors on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. These include business sales, joint ventures and shareholders' agreements, agency, distribution and marketing arrangements, franchise agreements and compliance issues.

Career highlights in the energy sector have included acting for the developer of a portfolio pf solar projects in sub-Saharan Africa, the sponsor of the first cross-border gas project in the Gulf, the developer of the largest natural gas discovery offshore India, the sponsor of one of the largest privately financed conventional power projects in Saudi Arabia, the developers of three aluminium smelters in the Gulf, the purchaser of a significant interest in a Russian LNG project, and the purchaser of a substantial interest in a LNG Regasification terminal in UK.

In his spare time George is a keen tennis player and enjoys golf, sailing and fitness training, as well as the many ups and downs of being a lifelong Leeds United supporter.
